Balkan Burger

Balkan Burger has come up with a unique way of preparing the every day burger that has proven to be quite a success. First, they toast their unique bun, a ‘somun’ bread, while the meat is cooking in order for the bread to soak up the juicy flavours of the meat, while softening up on the inside of the bread at the same time. They then fold the patty over (their own invention) and fill it with tomatoes, cabbage and salad. This ensures that the patty has a unique flavor and that the bun retains its crispiness. All in all, this method of making burgers have proved successful. The idea for Balkan Burger was born one Saturday afternoon by pure luck by two siblings sitting at a food market lamenting the lack of actual food available. After recruiting their parents, this Serbian burger joint truly became a family business. Everyone plays a role in the running of this enterprise and their passion for food can not only be seen but tasted as well!
